It's the fuel of the future for most modes of transportation. Unlike solar or wind, CNG can be used to power trucks, trains, aircraft and heavy equipment.

The libs don't want us to be energy independent, they don't even want us to have freedom of movement, which is why they're trying hard to end anything having to do with hyrdocarbons.

It could but the "greens" are fighting natural gas and trying to regulated it so much it would end up more expensive than regular gasoline.

If that should happen, the price of nat gas would drastically increase. Then how about the cost of heating our homes in the winter. Losing battle.

it should supplement gasoline. It doesn't need to replace it totally. we need to use a variety of energy not just replace with another single easily controlled by speculators and giant corp etc.

if it is made as a viable and economic source with enough outlets as well as price and people who know how to fix them as well as safety, it can work

Yeah, "fuel of the future" says it all. It's a great idea and the gas is there but no vehicles or infrastructure. So it will be a good while in the future before we see any of this. And whether or not Joe Consumer will purchase such a vehicle all depends on what happens to the economy and the job situation.

The price will go up just like gas once demand is high and speculators get heavily involved.

I see increased demand for natural gas driving electricity prices and home heating significantly higher. The 575 years most likely does not account for increased demand.
