soda doc... proving himself to be hopelessly delusional with every post, no matter what the subject matter.
Sad. Maybe he is off his meds.
Or maybe he self-medicates too much.
Either way, he shows off his alter states of dementia all the time....
One day, he may accidently discover facts. But don't hold your breathe.
Which makes me wonder...... did W nickname him "blank" blossom?

Hmm using Crossroads and Karl "Marx".... logic, lets do an economic analysis of the gulf coast...... and select the three-month period including Hurricane Katrina.......
But then Bush duplicated that for the entire country in 2008. (grin)

"Anyway, maybe they have selection bias, or maybe the right is more prone to making false statements than is the left, which would explain why there are more "false" designations for them, and rightly so." - apiergallini
So you give your bias away.
Anyway, may I suggest that this 'alleged selection bias' could be, as the University of Minnesota’s Smart Politics study points out, the fact that Politifact chooses NOT to select as many Democrat statements? Likely because they spout more misinformation than Republicans? Don't get me wrong, both the left and the right spew misinformation, but I'd like a source more reputable than Politifact to hang my hat on!
For a quick example, have they rated Obama's statement, "We can't escape the fact that we only control 2% of the world's oil"? If so, how did they rate it?

Haha, right on. I think, to a lot of people, especially on here, "radical, unamerican policies" are defined as anything the current administration puts forth, whether originally their idea or not.
@drpepperTX
That's not what I said, so don't misquote me. Especially not when my original post is on the same page.
Anyway, maybe they have selection bias, or maybe the right is more prone to making false statements than is the left, which would explain why there are more "false" designations for them, and rightly so.
@crep1291
Good point. But you won't hear most people on the right, or in here, talking about that, because if a Democrat President imposes a moratorium as a result of an oil company's negligence or recklessness, it's clearly the President's fault that we don't want something like that to happen again, right?

If anything, BP is to blame for the drop in offshore production in 2011. Had its well not leaked so badly, we wouldn't have had to impose a moratorium on similar projects.

Sorry TRY..... try and follow.....
The current administration is actual putting the pendulum back in the center after the laisse-faire attitude of the last administration.... where polluting became okay and extremely profitable...
As for waste....and corruption...... Nobody has done it more or better than the W..... Two wars --- not paid for.... Prescription Part D -- not paid for..... Dereging Wall street to the point of crashing it (with greed and avarice)....Killing soldiers for profit (KBR)..... Destroying CIA undercover operations designed to keep terrorists from getting nuclear weapons...... Seeking wars for political pandering... Not even bothering to adequately provide the military with the equipment they need (armor, etc...)... Worsening the underfunding of veterans care....
W & pals ENRON'd the country......and you seem to be asking for a second helping of toxic kool-aid...
I am sad for you....
As to radical, unAmerican policies??????
Lets see... health care ... that famous plan from Teddy Roosevelt, the Heritage Foundation, Newt Gingrich, Robert Dole....and oh yeah, Mitt Romney.
So it can't be radical that he used the GOP plan for the health care act????? right???? Or unAmerican? After all, the GOP is never unAmerican (sarcasm-laden snicker insert here)....
Must be radical that oil production is up under the Obama admin.....over the amount the Ws generated....
Or that oil imports are down....
Or that he made a company actually try to clean up its mess after a massive spill..... (unlike W's wiping away the need for Exxon Valdez to clean up its mess)...
Truth is that Obama is the best Republican president of the last 50 years. He is a centrist. And the only reason the delusional current GOP are calling him radical, socialist, communist & everything else..... is to avoid people noticing how far into lunacy the GOP has driven itself in the lst 30 years.....

Nice to see that the delusion-flavored soda doc..... is sampling more of his wares..... who knew the kool aid had so much fantasy-fizziness....
Politifact has a problem -- actually recognizing the truth when it hits them between the eyes (ie. the GOP whining about the O'Donnell promo with the word "welfare".....)
There has been a number of less than factual findings by the proclaimed truthiness squad.

Sure, that makes sense, right? Judge a book by its cover? Just for fun, where would you draw the line for having "been around the block"?
The PPACA may get overturned, but that's not certain. I don't think it will. I've read a lot about it, and have a pretty good understanding about how the law, Constitution, and legislatures all work.
And sure, here are some accomplishments: getting rid of DADT, is working to help veterans get employment, funded families going to Dover AFB to receive the remains of their family members, donated his Nobel Prize money to Fisher House, removed restrictions on stem cell research, promoted federal hiring of military spouses....
And Churchill was right: taxes are a zero-sum game. However, that doesn't mean that no good can come from them. We're all better off if nobody is destitute.
@drpepperTX
What they have, allegedly, is selection bias. Your source didn't say anything about them being wrong when they called someone's statements true or false.

What's bugging me is big government. Next is big government regulation. There's no telling what the next shoe to drop will be with this administration. The last administration was somewhat slower, now with this one, its off the charts with spending, waste and corruption. I would dread 4 more years of the current administration with its radical, un-American policies. I pray the general public will wake up and smell their loss of freedom

Another factual piece to bust the spin against the President.
Of course, I'm old enough to know that there will always be that small tinfoil brigade that will never accept ANY amount of facts because that would mean admitting that their bias toward the President is rooted in nothing but illogicality.
These same people would keep insisting that the world is flat. Different century, same closed mind.

The GOP has been taxing the heck out of the people who work for a living... just to make sure their freeloading friends get a free ride....How many Romney kids served in the military? zero.
and that is the exact level of ethics, morality and patriotism of the GOP since the SOBBs (sons of birchers & birthers) took over....
The GOP is now nothing but RINOs...They have no clue about Eisenhower republicans....or even Reagan republicans.....
So fracknsave... Reagan was a socialist when he raised taxes 11 times....right????
Seems fracknsave wants to be a freerider.... like today's RINOs...

Just remember... Crossroads' Rove wanted the US to go to war so W and GOP could claim to be patriotic...... and helped to destroy a CIA cover operation designed to keep nuclear weapons from getting into the hands of terrorists......
Anything he or crossroads says.... has the weight of a flea's fart......when it comes to anything ethical.....
To quote Rove..... he is "fair game" for anything bad happening to him...

Of course you experienced diatribers all know better, so you have license to disparage apiergallini, but you dyslexia even converts this gentleman's name to APG. Give it rest boys and try addressing the article.
Crossroads is your kind of political ad machine though, so whatever lies and twisted misinformation they spread is ok in your book.
Crossroads GPS surely deserves the infamous docp 'Liar of the Week' award for these incredible lies and distortions. Could it be one of Karl Rove's PR companies.

APG, we'll give you a pass on the politics, since judging by your avatar, you've yet to complete a trip round the block.
Besides, health care, which is going to be overturned soon, maybe you can cite some of the socialist-in-chief's other accomplishments, you know, worthy of propping on his mantle for legacy's sake.
We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle. Winston Churchill.
