When oil prices increase gas prices follow very quickly (here in Kalamazoo) but when there is a decline in oil prices there always seems to be an excuse why gas remains the same and sometimes goes higher. Holidays are always a good reason to keep them high. I understand supply and demand but I believe that excuse is even over used and not justified at times.

It is very difficult to manage the economy. I so pray that something changes quickly for everyone.

I have never run into so much traffic as I did down US-127 from Clare to Lansing, MI yesterday.

I have a rental house in Fernley and wanted to check up on it. Yeah, it's still there. A long drive but gas prices were not too bad. Well, in the $3.69 range in Nevada, $3.85 in California.

I am a petsitter. When other people go on vacation, I work. Last year I had 4 clients who went away on Labor Day weekend, so I was busy all weekend. This year I had only one! And that is not good! This economy is not fun for anyone!
