Iran boosting capacity of domestic oil storage facilities

GasBuddy Blog -- Iran has recently announced it's expanding its network of domestic oil storage facilities. Oil storage capacity will rise to 100 million barrels up to the end of fifth five year development plan in 2015, managing director of the Iranian Oil Terminals Company (IOTC), Seyyed Pirouz Mousavi, said. One really should ask what prompted this- a genuine need, or if this was caused by embargoes against Iran.

According to Shana.ir; Mousavi said 70 percent of the additional oil storage capacity will be created by Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), National Iranian Offshore Oil Company (NIOOC) and National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) while IOTC will be responsible for the remaining 30 percent.

They have too many of their own tankers sitting full and ready to sail once a order is received. When another country's oil tanker ties up to the oil terminal, the oil transfer needs to take place quickly and get the tanker back out to sea. Having such a large oil storage capacity will ensure they have enough crude oil on hand to fill those tankers. Just watch out for Israel, they can mess with your nuclear refining equipment, car bomb nuclear scientist and cause other necessary mayhem. And, Big Oil continues to sell fuel and natural gas on the world market for higher prices, there will be NO price reduction for the cost of fuel or natural gas IN the US. 'Coming out of the closet' Barry will support natural gas and oil production for sale on the world market to pay for his ‘spending gone wild’ addiction and receive that huge federal tax income for oil. Barry's economy is not improving but continues to hurt the population. The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! Speculators, manipulators and the banks continue to unfairly and unjustly make the driving public pay higher prices at the pump for their benefit. Now talk about Iran’s on going nuclear program and Israel's web attacks and car inside the country bombings trying to stop it! The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!
