Thanks mkohly! I see you've had fluctuations of diesel below regular gasoline. We hadn't seen that for many years and I didn't understand why not as diesel is technically a less complex mix.

How can you lie to everybody, saying prices were higher during Bush - just because of a 3-month spike in 2008? I'll take that spike any day compared with 4+ years of high prices, high food prices, high unemployment, negative GDP growth, 47 million on food stamps, and 1 of 6 in poverty. I suppose you tell people that 1 tornado means we had tornadoes all year long too, huh?

You are half right though. MPGe, as GM likes to use, is useless as you can't predict how much of each fuel anyone will use. Cost per mile is also flawed because the cost of each varies by day and location. I would like to see GM list both MPG in gas only mode and kWh in electric only mode.
