So, how are things going for you these days?

My wife passed away this morning.

Well, things have gone downhill for us. After several setbacks, we were sent home 2/10/11 for hospice care. The doctors all expected Teresa to pass in 3-4 days, but she is still with us. The end is near, though; another stroke has taken her ability to take in fluids, so she will likely last just a few days more... :-(

I'm sorry to hear about your parents. I know what you mean, about this not being a priority. My wife has been in and out of the hospital for more than a year. Just last week she was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer. We're trying to bring up her strength in anticipation of chemo and surgery. She jokingly calls Gas Buddy my 'hobby'. But absolutely nothing comes before my taking care of her. Stay well, -=CC=-

I guess I just got out of the habit of posting after being a bit obsessed for a while. I lost both my parents in a short period of time and just felt a little overwhelmed and gas buddy just wasn't a priority. I'm trying to get back in the habit of checking prices but so far not able to keep up yet.
