California gas station surpasses $5 per gallon

GasBuddy Blog -- It is a dangeous waiting game. Will European and U.S. sanctions against Iran bring about a peaceful resolution to quell Iran's nuclear aggression? Will Israel remain patient and allow additional economic pressure on Iran from China work?

Will a collapsing Iranian economy be the catalyst for an overthrow of the current regime? Or, would heavy blows to Iran's economy accelerate a decision by President Ahmadinejad into a first-strike military action?

And if a conflict between Israel and Iran is inevitable, should the U.S. support Israel with active involvement? Passively? Or not at all?

The volatility of the entire Middle East is in question and consequently, crude oil prices continue their steady climb...

And the economy is sinking to new lows. Just today, Long Beach USD announced mid-year layoffs involving 300 teachers. This is just sickening.

OK, PD -- But their posted state average is $4.02 per gallon -- still too high, of course.
But my point is, every state has one area that is consistently higher priced than the rest of the state.
In Michigan, that would be Romulus. Their BP near the airport is usually .50 cents up to a dollar more than the rest of the state. Today they are at $3.89 a gallon.

This article mainly serves to inflame, and just as negative media seems to do, it just helps the greedy oil companies to prime the public for another round of hideous gouging.

It is difficult to tell exactly what will happen next. However, California is always out front where so many things are concerned- usually positive things. Unfortunately, some things, such as high gas prices is something they always lead the way in as well.

A conflict is going to happen. Today I read Iran is looking at helping those near Israel to send rockets into Israel.

The heat is on. Oil is up. I think the $110-$120 range for this year as the "Greek Tragedy" is fixed for now seems resonable.

As for California...Ain't you buttheads on EV's and CNG cars yet?
