Greenies don't like this:
“Strip mining Kentucky to cause pollution in India, and worsen global warming everywhere, is a big mistake,” said Jamie Henn, spokeswoman for 350.org
Let the greenies walk. Let them freeze. Let them go broke. Let them go first.
Let them mind their own business. What India pays for and does with the product is NONE OF THE GREENIES' BUSINESS.
Green is red.

Good news for the jobs and economy in KY, but this is just like the oil we drill in the US, export our resources and pay double to import them???

Yep.. India has to have more power so they can energize all those call centers that all the big corporations have over there for cheap labor... So we can have fewer and fewer jobs here in the US...

WTF does winning an export contract have to do with "greenies"? They just did a $7 billion deal that brings money into the USA and keeps people working, and most of you are posting negative comments.

Does it make sense to close our coal burning power plants that have made advances in cutting pollutants and sell coal to a country whose plants are 50 years behind us.

Yippee KY. Just goes to show you the fallacy of the left green agenda. We sell cheap national resourcs overseas to only subsidize government green projects at eight times the cost. How stupid, plus the coal will be burned at plants that don't follow US EPA standards so the green house gases and the pollution released will be worse on the world environment.
