A judge found that editing nudity and graphic violence out of videos that were being rented or sold did not constitute a fair use under the Copyright Act.

Why is Hollyweird trying so hard to push their filth?

Of course it's old news, the films are from the 80s/90s.

But you're using Snopes....LOL They're the final answer are they.....well, come on over, somewhere we still have the videos and you can see for yourself. Yes, they say it's the ministers' knee, or a cat in his pants....but knowing basic anatomy, it ain't a knee and who keeps a cat in their pants??

I'm lacking knowledge of psychology am I .....LOL

And it's all in my Christian imagination!! LOL

All in all, your total post is a joke. You have no idea of my religious affiliation, my vocation, nor even that Disney has, for years, placed subliminal items in their films and other endeavours.

Thanks for the laughs......now, do some video viewing and read about the history of the Disney Corporation, they admit to a lot of it.

When my daughter was younger, we had a bunch of Disney films that had been "altered" by a disgruntled employee.

One of her friends came over and listed the "clouds spelling SEX" and minister with an erection etc, all on
Disney animation.

We pulled them all out and sure enough....sex, sex and sex, all over these Disney films.

I thought it was quite funny.....maybe if you google "Sex & Disney", you can find the list....there were quite a few films affected and it was in the papers at the time.

So.....what's a parent to do?? What I don't like are all these kiddies clothes that make them look like hookers...who buys that garbage?? Someone does, cause the shops are full of very provocative clothing for little girls.

If I find the Disney "sex" movies, I'll post em for you......maybe talk to your kids about what they're watching, put it ina reasonable context.

You cannot avoid sex and violence, so you might as well have a decent discussion with your children about it.

Good luck.

sgm - Unfortunately, sex and violence are what sell. Some parents want everything they find offensive to be taken away. I believe they have had a new initiative to have films with cigarette (or cigar) smoking, rated higher (ie PG13, R, whatever) to not show kids smoking. Come on. The responsibility to raise a child is with the parents. Parents need to decide what is right for their kids, not some censoring company. Kids are not necessarily at the same point of maturity or development even if they are the same age.

BTW - you can check Walmart. I have seen edited CDs and movies there, which is why I do not buy them there. I want the CD or movie as it was intended by the artist.

Still, I'd like to be able to watch a movie with my kids and not have to worry about the obligatory sex and violence in all but the animated movies.

It is called freedom of speech and freedom of expression. Artists, whether you consider them that or not, are not to be censored. If so, I would like all religious programming removed from TV as well. No one religion should be favored over another as it is in this country.

If you're infringing on Copyright laws, you are messing with Intellectual Property.

It's got nothing to do with "Hollyweird" pushing filth, it's the law of the land.

Nobody has ever forced me to rent/buy a film that I wasn't interested in already...it's like television, if you don't like it, change the channel.

I know of many Christian homes that don't even have television, due to program content....that's their right.

It's also the rights of Hollywood and television stations to run their shows as long as they follow the regulations of their area.

The Holy Bible has some "pretty hot" passages.....and plenty of sex. ♥
