I've been taking Plaquenil, Methrotrexate, and folic acid for a couple years. It has been very effective for my hands. I am a bit concerned about long term use after reading various articles on these drugs. They check my blood every 2 months, and eyes yearly for side effects.
Recently I'm experiencing major problems with my right knee, trouble walking, pain, swelling.
I would appreciate any info you can share. Also natural remedies?

Cant believe no one else has R.A., was looking for some helpful info, other then what my doctor jams done my throat. Recently returned from visit with grand kids. Well worth the adverse effects. Knee & hip took a beating. Hands are are good. Didn't adhere to my recommended diet. Got to make appt., I guess they will drain knee & shoot me with cordison combo. Going to attempt to go natural, cant be much worse.

I use Osteo-FX. It will help rebuild my cartileage. I been using it for about 3 months and it seems to be working. I also take bayer back and body.
Oh yes by the way, NO Side Effects...

Not the first time I've talked to myself. Just glad I didn't ask how I could restart my heart.
