Daily Red Wine has cleared my entire blood system. Last year checked into the hospital because my doctor figured I had had a heart attack. I couldn't get a full breath and had to sleep sitting up because the pain was too bad when lying down. On the operating table they inserted a tiny camera into my wrist and followed an artery to my heart. All this was displayed on a big screen so I could see it too. One of the nurses suddenly said "WOW, look at that" I thought I was in big trouble. The surgeon grabbed me by the shoulders because I almost sat up and said Relax, you have the heart of a 30 year old. (I was 64 at the time) Very little Plaque or Cholesterol. 25 years ago I had very high cholesterol and my Doc changed my diet and instead of putting me on chemical pills, told me to drink red wine. Turned out I had very serious muscle strain in my chest because I had loaded a deep freeze onto a truck by myself. (my help never showed up) Red wine works

I've never heard of any of the products mentioned.
My neighbor was 94 and still sharp. Her weight was normal, she loved and ate salads, smoked until she was 80, and drove to the grocery store until 92. She took no prescription drugs, only ate an antacid once in awhile.
Everything in moderation, and tried to eat natural foods; not all that boxed stuff with preservatives.

if you think you can put anything in pill form and have it better than eating the natural food it came in then you are just kidding yourself. Our pill mentality is part of the problem. Eat your foods in the least processed ways and try to vary your diet leaning towards fruits and vegetables and away from red meat and refined carbs and you will be moving in the right direction. Any refined flour product or sugar added product is not good. Fruit juice or pop unless you are exercising is no good either.

A medical lecture that I recently attended opened my eyes as one of the topics for discussion was the fact that the microbes in our gut may have something to do with our ailments. The healthier our gut is, the healthier we are (in essence.) Imagine that.
Our health is then dependent upon what we eat and drink. I believe that much of our health is also due to what we drink. Much of our water supply is actually not safe to drink. Lots of heavy metals and chemicals in our water.
The longest living people live high up in the Himalayan mountains where they have the purest water to drink.

I believe carcinogens are the culprits regenerating DNA and causing cellular mutation globally. Years ago people cooked with pig fat, AKA Lard. So, is it really a diet of saturated fats killing us? Well, it's definately not helping.

From what I know in my family it is not to smoke or drink alcohol. My dads parents were grandma was 80 and grandpa was 87 when they died. They lived out in the country in Yale, Michigan where the air was clean too! They were also married 62 years after coming from Warsaw, Poland.
