Hi,
I have an Isuzu LS 2000 with about 63,000 miles. (bought it with 42,000) Does anyone eLSe out there have one with this many miles and what kinds of "fixes" have you had to do at this mileage? I've replaced the brakes and rotors, otherwise, not too bad--except for being a gas guzzler!!

Gypsee, if you're still out there, SELL YOUR RODEO QUICK AS YOU CAN! I bought one because I had previously owned an Impulse and it was a fantastic car. It was a true import (built overseas). It lasted 300k miles so I thought another Isuzu would be a reliable vehicle. Boy was I wrong. You can look forward to the in-tank fuel gauge going bad on you ($600+ to repair) blown head gaskets, oil pan (both upper and lower, yes for some reason there are 2!) leaking among other "minor" fixes I've had to endure!
I've had it with Isuzu. I recently learned that they are now designed/built only in US and it has been my experience with American made cars that they are built to fail. Had a GM engineer tell me that when we shared a flight not too long ago.
I'm getting my Rodeo fixed and selling it quick as I can. I would recommend you do the same before it strands you somewhere and drains your finances for more than gas $$$!
