Seriously, I really believe he went there and screwed up on purpose. He got all the hype and publicity, and I think he went over there and said "screw this" and purposely blew his races.

I do not know why they gave him the press interview time he received. NBC should have erased the tape. It did not make any sense. I watched it and asked my self what the heck was that.
They could have run highlights or shown more of one of the events or games!

U.S. media created Bode Miller The Superhero, placing him on the covers of newsmagazines to take our minds off Iraq and the economy. Lesson learned to all who might predict Olympian success in advance. By next year, it will be #4, after Mr. Miller is kicked off the Ski Team (what's that?)...

how about 2.5? Bode is an immature little punk. And to the rest of the world, he personifies what they think of as the 'typical' American.
A complete embarrassment to the USA. If the governing board of the US Ski Team had any brains, they'd throw him off the team. But then again, Bode doesn't really care. He's got endorsements and money now. It's too bad that he just didn't stay home and party and give someone else his spot on the team.
