All lies from Obama and Congress. This is just their way of getting re-elected. Watch out, once the elections are over, the truth will come out. Jobs opportuniteis have not improved, just more people have lost their unemployment, so they don't count. Gas prices are being regulated by Obama and Congress. Wake-up America, Obama and Congress are playing into your stupidity. Show them that we aren't stupid. Don't re-elect Obama or anyone else in Congress.

Unemployment falls when people run out of benefits. Not because people found jobs.

Not even U6 counts the people who decided to retire prematurely.

Almost all of the jobs I am seeing online are entry level minimum wage jobs....and I am not getting called for interviews. I wonder what the REAL unemployment rate is. I haven't worked a minute in the past year. I have applied for jobs as dishwasher, server, customer service rep, etc, am a trained medical biller but that field is completely not hiring here. I have tried to kiss plenty of feet to get my feet in the door somewhere to a point of feeling stupid and useless. Next day I recharge, go out there and look again...I don't collect any benefits but do not want to stop being counted as unemployed.
Wholesale gas is overpriced, WTI and Brent are WAY OVERPRICED!!!! RBOB gasoline is outrageously overpriced. Our oil production is at an all-time high and big oil has increased their profit margin at the pumps year after year since 2003.
Considering that gasoline averaged 4.11$ a gallon when oil was 147.21$ in May 2008.
The current price of oil, 87.82$, is about 59.656% of the May 2008 rate, then gasoline, if priced 59.656% of the May 2008 rate, should be 2.4519$ a gallon. Since gasoline averages 3.63$ per gallon today, that means that big oil is making a KILLING at the pumps.
Big oil cannot blame the dollar for the increase in the price of gas because the dollar is much higher than it was in May 2008. The Euro is about 1.2485$ right now, in May 2008 the Euro was around 1.6065$ when the barrel of oil was 147.21$. I follow this because I spent nearly half my life in Germany and I have followed gas and oil market prices since around 2003, when big oil jacked up the price of gasoline in Washington state from 1.06$ to 1.91$ at my favorite gas station during he six months before Bush invaded and squandered our money in Iraq.
Bush repeatedly deregulated commodity trading while he was president and is THE NUMBER ONE REASON why our oil and gas prices are so outrageous.
Our two-faced president Obama can fix this mess if he really wanted to, but he "calls Congress to do this". HAH!! Congress can't do anything without money and Obama would rather squander twenty million dollars for an advertising agency to promote the unconstitutional Obamacare instead of curbing speculation and setting position limits and speculator can hold.
What the Labor Dept is NOT telling you is how many jobs the economy lost during the past year. The person who leads the company overseeing the official govt unemployment numbers told CNBC last month that 80% of our unemployment rate decline is due to people, mostly women, leaving the workforce.
Don't believe everything our govt tells you. I heard this myself so I am not making this up. I watch CNBC almost every weekday because I am interested in knowing how our economy is REALLY doing. MSNBC or NBC will not tell you what you NEED to know about Obama OR our economy.
Obama has taught all of his supporters to lie through their teeth to make him look better than he really is and Romney worse than he really is.
Do you want Obama squandering another five trillion dollars the next four years and raise our gas prices to European levels to force us to buy those really pricey Volts, Leafs, and Hybrids?
Don't be naive, folks. I am a democrat, but I am not stupid and I love my country. Obama has completely flipped and corrupted the democratic party into this huge monster out to turn our country into an overspending entitlement state and he blames EVERYONE ELSE for all of his shortcomings and failures. In three years, he has not ever taken responsibility for any failure or unfulfilled campaign promise.

The Department of Labor discloses employment data on FRIDAY, which obviously hasn't happened yet, so I don't know or trust this info from Examiner.
Crude is currently at $87.59 Wholesale gas is now $2.76 (implies $3.26 at your local pumps shortly)
