I was just in England and it didn't work there, would have been handy with the outrageous fuel prices they have. I don't know if it's even feasible but it would be very cool if Gas Buddy were global.

I'd love to use GasBuddy on trips to the UK, Europe or even a road trip to Mexico. Maybe GB could partner up or license to someone else to handle the site in outside of US/Canada.

That wold make it hard to cover Mexico, etc. Perhaps U.K. or Australia would be the next area to be covered. Of course, for some countries, there would have to be a caveate in which GB disclaims all responsibility for revealing "state secrets." [Edited by: CampKohler at 10/15/2011 1:43:44 PM EST]

I don’t think the concept is copyrighted so anyone is free to start a similar service elsewhere.
