Was going through Needles today and observed prices 4.59 to 4.79 at most stations. Even AmPm/Arco was alot at 4.39/gal. Back in AZ on Hwy 95 the prices were maybe 3.25 to 3.40. Further down the road, prices in Blythe, CA were still rather high at 3.75-3.85. What makes gas in Needles so expensive?

I noticed that also in the early dec trip to parker AZ.. Kinda funny the LOVE`S fuelTrucks ( i was right behind 2 of them ) passes buy from Bakersfield to Exit #9 in AZ and they are 30-40 cents cheaper .. Calif gass tax is about 54 cents a gallon here in Northern calif. Mabe Greed since the people in needles can cross the border and fill up ....
