Not that I can remember, other than the time in a heavey rain storm on the I-17 my drivers side windshield wiper rubber came off. I pulled over and took off the wiper bar and replaced it with the passenger side wiper bar assembly and on my way again.

In all my years of driving I have pulled over twice because of weather. Once was during a fierce rain storm that turned to hail, I pulled over under an overpass sheltered from the hail. The second time was in wicked fog, I found a lay-by just before rail tracks, pulled over, and went to sleep until morning sun dissipated the fog.

No, it has never been that bad that I could not see the road. However, I have often chosen not to drive long distances due to pending weather

Yes, twice. Once for a whiteout condition during a blizzard and a second time when it was raining so hard I could see the end of my hood.

If you can't see during a storm, what makes the guy behind you able to see you any better?

Luckily, no. When travelling, I always look at the weather reports, and if there's going to be bad weather, I always have alternative routes planned in case I have to change.

Yep. When it's difficult to see in heavy rain, it's a much safer idea to pull over until the condition improves and it much easier to see the road ahead of you.

Yes. I've pulled over a few times for heavy rain.
Also, last spring, I(along with all the other drivers) pulled over during a heavy hailstorm in Indianapolis.
