I do but I try not to, no law being broken by not turning on red when permitted. I get frustrated when people honk/beep when there is a No Turn On Red sign.

If the person ahead doesn't take the right turn on his right of way, I will give a quick toot of the horn. If he still doesn't go, I wait. Frustration causes accidents.
Next time, it will be you that is in front, and the perceived hold up in traffic. And life is to short to worry about the retarded toads behind. The other day I was turning on to a major artery full of traffic, and slowed to try to match my speed with a hole I saw coming, and the guy behind immediately leaned on his horn. How much faster did he think he was going to get there if I immediately pulled in and the road was blocked by the resulting collision? He was focused on me, wasn't even looking at the heavy traffic that had the right of way. I have been on a major artery, in the left hand lane because I had a left turn coming up, and had a person honking horns and flashing lights expecting me to pull into the right lane. Self-important prig turned out to be making the same left turn!
And it is NOT common courtesy to stay right lane on city streets. That is just silly on any road with intersections allowing right and left turns. Main street isn't a through-way in any city I have been in.
Did you know that in Germany, where drivers are far better trained than here, that showing frustration in traffic nets major fines? Flash your lights on the Autobahn at a car in the left lane, he is supposed to move over. If he doesn't, and you start honking, you get a major ticket. He gets a ticket for not moving over, as well. Most of the honking and flashing of lights you see on the roads here, and especially things like the one-finger salute, are considered aggression in Germany. It behooves us to remember the line between frustration and aggression is thin, and they both are dangerous.

No. It's a form of Road Rage. To my knowledge there's no law requiring a person to turn right on a red light. I DO get frustrated with idiot drivers who demonstrate their disregard for the safety of those around them.

"I have had people honk and flash their lights to try to get me to switch to the right hand land to let them speed by, on city streets."
The right-hand lane is there for those who are not passing. Even in city streets is is common courtesy to move to the right to allow those moving faster than yourself go by. You should be so lucky that they flashed their lights asking before driving by on the right and cutting you off...
Back to the topic, if it is not illegal to turn right on red and traffic permits then DO SO!

bowler93, There are several reasons people might not turn at the light, and in most cases, they are not doing so to aggravate / frustrate you...
In illinois and especially in chicago metropolitan area, red light cameras are big revenue producers and have become a major ticket generator for communities hurting for revenue. Also, there is NO easy way to fight the tickets. Because of this, many people are striking back when red light cameras are present by deliberately NOT turning on red.
I know the community I live in tried to pass an ordinance to make redlights on red illegal until they were told they could not do this with out proper signs.
Also, you probably know this, but there is NO LAW that states you have to turn on red....

I have had people honk and yell at me for not turning on red, even when cars are coming through the intersection or where there is a sign specifically prohibiting right turn on red. I have had people honk and flash their lights to try to get me to switch to the right hand land to let them speed by, on city streets. I have had people flash their lights and tail-gate me to try to make me go faster, in driving rain, in fog, and in blinding snow.
A certain percentage of people are't just impatient, they aren't just inconsiderate, they are stupid.

In some states, you cannot make right turns on Red. Local people may know the rules but a traveler/visitor/tourist would not. If my area makes it illegal to turn right on Red, I won't turn right on Red in other states lest I get a ticket.

Sometimes I lightly tap on the horn. If they don't move, I assume they don't know they can turn and just wait for the green light. Life's too short to get upset over this kind of stuff. You've gotta watch out for road rage. The driver may do anything in a fit of anger

As far as I know, right turns on red are required after stopping if it is safe and legal at that intersection to do so. I'm not sure about other states, though.

"Do you get frustrated when people don't take a right on red when there aren't any cars coming?"
No. I routinely make allowed right turns on red after stopping.
I do get frustrated with jackasses who make rolling right turns on red when I am entering the intersection.
Right turns on red are allowed after stop but NOT required.

Not really. While the law allows you to turn right on red, there is no obligation to turn right on red and many vehicles do not. They may have a hard time seeing by the car to their side, or they may just not feel comfortable.
Also, I don't see this the same as going significantly under the speed limit. If you are going under the speed limit, you should pull over to allow faster cars by.
