Well, my Mercury Grand Marquis V8 4601cc requires premium gas, which the chepest here is 1.919 a gallon. I have no choice. Summer is coming. The car can only run on regular during winter or cold time.

Also, 20 cent a gallon is not that bad compared to 4 dollar a gallon. It depends on where you stay. Arizona is not that expensive compared to California.

I am just hoping that premium gas here will be lowered again soon. My V8 Mercury grand Marquis has 20gallon, with 25mpg highway mileage. It will save me a little bit.

Don't just buy less gashogMO, use less! Improve the fuel economy of your vehicle; you'll be making it greener, putting more money into your pocket when the prices go back up on oil and gas, and you'll have more to invest and to do other things with too! Think about it and do it! It's just like solar hot water heaters and wind generators for many make sense and pay for themselves over the long term. I know people that invested a lot of money ten and 20 years ago to eliminate their electric usage from the utilities and it's all paid off for them! It can for everyone! Plus, it's better for the environment and the health of people as well!
Plus, they say that is cheap, "cheaper than it's ever been" is what some of the analysts say! Well, that only applies to those making over $100,000 year and more! It doesn't apply to the single mom out of work or to the struggling family down the block or possibly to many of you here! Just wait though, the stage is set for higher oil and gas prices again, and very high inflation too!

if your going to buy gas, use this guide and keep going to the lowest priced station. This will drive the prices down quicker than trying to lobby for it in forums. The gas companies won't listen to us. Also, if you buy Valero gas, the money funds terroism since its owned by a South American dictator.

I'm all-in on a boycott that will actually work, not just delay my purchase by a few days: I just filled my truck with 24 gallons of homemade biodiesel. It cost me about 12 bucks to make it. I could do this all summer until they decide to lower the prices again. (green hat on!)

If you don't fill up and buy the gas someone else will. This is nothing more than an inconvenience and a mini boycott. Demand is demand, supply is supply, regardless if you fill up half of a tank today and half of a tank tomorrow.

Doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that gas is going to rise and it has allready started will not stop now til October. For one thing the government is in bed with the auto mmakers now.The auto makers are producing the battery ran cars now ten fold. Now if gas stays down are people gonna buy those cars?Oil cmpanies have cut back on refining!Credit card companies are making big money the higher the price is on gasoline! The government is in bed with them as well!We will never have the right type of automobile now no matter what unless we buy one and let it sit for 2 or 3 years to let the new trend pass.See when everyone went diesel diesel prices went above gasoline. They dropped diesel this winter now it is above premium gasoline again because they made attractive prices again on diesel, people went out and boughht the diesel rigs again and now we are gonna see them gouge those people.Gas will rise to 350 a gallon real soon and wham they will be selling the battery cars. Watch out for what it is gonna cost you to replace thae battery in those cars once that happens. Have a good day and one simple thing we can do to ty and help the economy in my opinion is to pay cash for what we need eliminate credit card companies from raping business and driving up everyones cost. VERY SIMPLE

It is never in demand if 50% of the people slow down and drive less. Oil companies have you scared if you think it is in demand.

"Since Gas went up 20 cents a gallon - refuse to fill up until it comes down! "
Another far out post! Hey Chet, looks like you will be walking for awhile, as gas prices will continue to rise as we head into the higher demand time of year.

cut back on your driving by 10% and that will in effect drop the gas price by .20 / gallon......and increae gas inventories at the same time.

When I get home Friday nights, the car does not run again until I drive to work Monday morning. I choose to buy a house where I can live within walking distance of the store, church and groceries. Next, I'm looking at one of those solar power golf carts to get me to work.....10 miles one way, back roads. My goal is to get off the "grid" one step at a time. Last year I installed a wood pellet stove and I have been burning "waste sawdust" (wood pellets) ever since. Not one drop of oil since the install. the house is toasty, the water is hot and my money is being paid to my neighbor (who doesn't want to blow me up) who arranges to have the wood pellets delivered to the back door.

I'm not asking you to give up buying gas, just don't fill up when the price spikes and force the Gas suppliers to lower the price by buying the minimum amount and keep it in the ground until they lower the price. Trust me if everyone would not buy gas for only one day we would get their attention!

hard to refuse unless I can buy the house just next door to where I work... Then all I'd have to do is walk across the street to work.
