When raw material's costs are plummeting,
refineries are operational
&
demand is dropping,
you don't raise prices because you think the consumer thinks prices are going up.

But Valero is doing just that in San Antonio and Corpus Christi plus along the interstate highways of Texas.

Great company, but a poor decision on their part.

They don't have the monopoly that they thought they did.

They aren't the only gougers out there. I say boycott the gougers.

At least here in Phoenix, Valero prices that are posted tend to be "cash" prices, "cc" prices being higher.

They are usually the cheapest in Apache Junction,AZ.

They are cheaper in New York and that is why people continue to buy Valero gas. I know I do.

In the area of L.A. that I live in, they are usually the cheapest gas around.

a photo of a Valero gas station sign in the paper (from Missouri) showed a price of $1.32 a gallon! --today!

On Nov.24 I bought gas at Valero for $1.59 in Katy Tx...Lowest I have seen in Texas, Louisiana, Miss. Alab. and Florida... Keep coming down...

Valero in the Austin area is among the cheaper stations. It depends on the station and location.

Their Shamrock gas always gives my car "gas" and really stinks for some reason.

Velero is pretty often inexpensive compared to the others here in Maine. Just an observation really. Luk Oil, Velero, and *some* Irvings stations are often the least expensive around here.
